Sam, Dean e John si recano a Salvation, nell’Iowa, in quanto Sam ha avuto una visione di una donna che viene eliminata dallo stesso demone che aveva ucciso sua madre. Questa sembra l’occasione ideale per utilizzare la Colt e vendicarsi, ma a complicare il tutto si mette Meg, che comincia ad uccidere tutti gli amici di John minacciando di continuare fintanto che non avrà ricevuto l’arma magica. John capisce che l’unico modo per fermare l’interminabile scia di sangue di Meg è quello di consegnarle la Colt, ma ovviamente non cederà così facilmente. Frattanto Sam e Dean provano a sconfiggere il demone, salvando le potenziali vittime, ma proprio quando tutti i tasselli della storia sembrano combaciare la morte si avvicina alla famiglia Wincester mettendo in crisi i due fratelli.
